Nearparent application helps families to live more care-free lives. It enables kids to check-in every now and then and lets the parents know that everything’s OK. When kids actually needs help, the application sends the help request to the community of trusted adults chosen by the parent. With this virtual support network, kids always have trusted adults nearby to help. Optionally both parents and kids can choose to share their location within the family. This enables the family members see the near real-time location of each other or just kids. Click Kids icon, choose the kid whose current location you want to see, and click enable real-time tracking.
With Nearparent MyZones parents can define safe areas such as “home” or “school” for their child with a set timeframe for them to be in that specific area. Parents can choose to receive in-app alert messages when their child’s location shows them being out of the set area.
Contextual weather warnings allow user to get warnings for changes in local weather. User can choose receive notifications for various kinds of extraordinary weather events, such as "flood", "heat", or "earthquake".
Go to settings (see behind Android Menu-key) to enable, disable and configure the options and service features, such as Weather warnings, MyZones, and tracking.
